Campagne Development „Green Jobs“
BODY Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
PARTNER Ministry of Labour Egypt
TIMEFRAME 2026
This GIZ-led project focuses on building capacity for sustainable business practices in Egypt. The project aims to launch a public awareness campaign on “Green Jobs” to highlight the significant opportunities for the job market.
In June 2026, KH CEO Frank Tischner, along with marketing expert Jörg Kersten, traveled to Egypt to pitch their concept for the “Green Jobs” campaign. During the four-day workshop in Cairo, the two were able to draw on their collective experience—including that gained from our ISESA/IRESA projects in South Africa—and work with partners from the private sector, government ministries, and educational institutions to create a suitable campaign. Decision-makers from the private sector, government, and vocational schools collaborated with great enthusiasm during the workshop and delivered a practical outcome.
The topic of renewable energies offers great potential in Egypt and could become a major factor in the economy.
“Green Gobs” offer opportunities for positive employment growth in Egypt. The goal is to raise awareness of these opportunities among a broad audience through, among other things, a social media campaign and face-to-face discussions with decision-makers. KH is supporting both efforts by sharing its experience and expertise as a strong trade association. The involvement of Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf does not end after the workshop. In coordination with the project initiator giz, ongoing follow-up support for the Egyptian project partners will take place throughout 2026 via online meetings and consultation sessions.
