Partnership for Development-Oriented Apprenticeship and Labour Migration

BODY Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)

PARTNER Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Partnerschaften für entwicklungsorientierte Ausbildungsund Arbeitsmigration (PAM)

TIMEFRAME 2024 – 2026

This project aims to promote the labour mobility of Jordanians for the benefit of both countries. A key component of this programme is a pilot project to provide young Jordanians with vocational qualifications in selected skilled trades for both the Jordanian and German labour markets.

Next-Generation Apprentices, Skilled Labour Recruitment

Following linguistic and cultural preparation, selected young Jordanians are given the opportunity to complete a multi-year apprenticeship in skilled trades companies in Germany. KH actively supports the placement of candidates and provides support and counselling during their training. Experts from Germany will also support the participating Jordanian partners with their expertise and practical experience during the vocational training programmes.
This project offers the German skilled crafts sector a wide range of opportunities to become involved in development cooperation and at the same time to explore new ways of creating skilled labour.
