The pilot project Germany Pakistan Training Initiative aimed to develop the training of teachers in Pakistan into a cooperative vocational education project with a larger involvement of the business community. Special emphasis was put on vocational methodology and the transfer of skills and expertise to the next generation of vocational trainers.

In 2015, a total of twelve in-school and in-company trainers from the Pakistani regions of Karachi and Lahore took part in a technical-educational training course. The first part of the training took place over a period of six weeks in the KH workshops. The second part of the programme lasted three weeks. KH vocational instructors provided training in the areas of automotive engineering, welding and CNC technology on-site in Jordan.
