IRESA Milestone: Motheo TVET College Joins ECASA

Last week and in the context of the IRESA initiative (’Initiative for Responsible Economy South Africa”), Motheo TVET College and the Electical Contractors‘ Association South Africa (ECASA) signed a partnership agreement.
The partnership is intended to formalise the cooperation between the association and the college in terms of vocational training in the skilled trades (TVET) and hence generally ensure a better alignment of the TVET training with the actual requirements of the labour market.
The agreement includes, among other things, communication agreements on regular exchanges, specific details on specialised vocational training at Motheo TVET College as well as joint formal handling of certification and quality assurance.
Both sides were very enthusiastic about the agreement and emphasised that the partnership is based on mutual recognition and prosperity.
We at KH are also very happy about the first major formalised cooperation between the private sector and a vocational training institution within the IRESA network!
