Realigned Mission Statement for International Development Work

On 26 September, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) introduced its new private sector cooperation strategy at the “Partners in Transformation – New Networks for Business and Development” event in Berlin, which KH – as a long-standing cooperation partner – was also invited to attend.

Federal Minister Svenja Schulze took the time to learn about the KH projects in international TVET cooperation. Emphasis was placed, among other things, on the two current Vocational Education and Training Partnerships (BBP) of KH in South Africa and Mozambique. Speaking about the KH’s project work abroad, Aika Drescher, Head of International Projects, emphasised the relevance of the skilled crafts sector in development cooperation in general and specifically its contribution to the German government’s new mission statement.
