Delegation from Mozambique visits KH
During this week, the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf is welcoming a delegation from Mozambique. Together with KH’s International Team, member companies and educational institutions in the districts of Steinfurt and Warendorf are being visited. The visitors represent the two main partners of the Vocational Education and Training Partnership (BBP), the Mozambican Association for Renewable Energies (AMER) and the vocational training center in Matola (IICM), as well as private vocational training providers and public infrastructure companies in Mozambique.
On Wednesday, the group visited the KH premises in Beckum. Electrical training manager Rene Jürgens led a tour of the electrical training workshop and a very focussed technical discussion about the on-site training as well as the common key topic of renewable energies ensued. At the end, Ann-Kristin Erdmann, Head of Department Guilds, presented the delegates with an “energy carrier” shopping bag containing a voucher for a local DIY store.
The delegation will be visiting until Saturday and will return home after an informative but also exhausting week of visits.
