The Future of Renewable Energy in Mozambique
On last Thursday, the 1st Labour and Industry Fair was held on the grounds of KH partner IICM (Instituto Industrial e Comercial da Matola) under the slogan “The Future of Renewable Energy in Mozambique”. The fair brought together more than 300 participants, sustainably strengthening the connection between young talents and companies.
The day offered TVET College apprentices, students and alumni as well as companies extensive networking opportunities, inspiring presentations and a chance to get in touch with leading companies and innovators from the renewable energy sector.
KH supports the two organisers of the fair, AMER (Associação Moçambicana de Energias Renováveis) and IICM, within the framework of the Vocational Education and Training Partnership (BBP), which is now in its fifth year, with the aim of strengthening the qualification of local talent in order to have a regional advantage in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
“This fair is an essential step to connect young talents with the numerous career opportunities that are emerging in the market”,
says Vasco Cuna, Technical Advisor for KH.
